Why I purchased Nexus 7 instead of Samsung Tab2

Introduction Google also entered the tablet market with its latest device ‘Nexus 7’; in this space Samsung has already been playing a greater role. This post will talk about different streams for thoughts that were running on my mind while I decided to buy a decent tablet for myself. UPDATE: Do check out Samsung Tab 2 and Google Nexus 7 benchmarking results which talks in details about CPU, memory performances, and web rendering on both the tablets. This is not a technical comparison where you see the specifications of two devices and where it stands; rather this will focus on the thought process that goes behind the scenes when you choose to buy one tablet out of two options. If are right now thinking of buying yourself a tablet than this is going to be of great help to you, it will help you know other things to think about while purchasing a tablet and how not just make your decisions purely on the specifications. Travelling Note

This is a short note I wrote when I was travelling yesterday.(From my Mobile Notepad) I should have brought pen and paper with me but i didn't. And now i am feeling to write something. Life is unpredictable! Yes it is... I don't know why but somehow i just feel so. Some say that "a point comes in life when we loose control of what is happening to us." In the book “The Alchemist” it is referred to as the biggest lie. And i support that, we are completely in control of what happens to us. I just feel that if we really need something desperately, we eventually end up with getting that. Though it takes time; and in the meantime we just loose hope of getting the things we want... And believe me that's the time when we so close to what we need. (Just keep your hope alive!) I heard Obama say "we have chosen hope over fear" it has a greater meaning attached to it... He won not because the other candidate wasn't good enough, its because of Hope. Hope multip...

Obama’s Inaugural Speech

I too watched what the whole world was watching, waiting for him to speak. The moment came quite, but he was loud enough, so the whole world could hear. The “CHANGE” everybody was hoping for is finally here… Excerpts from his speech: “My fellow citizens: I stand here today humbled by the task before us, grateful for the trust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by our ancestors.” “Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, America - they will be met.” “For everywhere we look, there is work to be done. The state of the economy calls for action, bold and swift, and we will act - not only to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth. We will build the roads and bridges, the electric grids and digital lines that feed our commerce and bind us together. We will restore science to its rightful place, and wield technology’s wonders to raise healt...
